Dr. Leah Dlugolecki, DO, (“Dr. D”) is a psychiatrist based in San Diego, CA, with subspecialty in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Professional passions include tailored treatment plans with full scope care, individual and family psychotherapy, and integrating alternative ways of healing such as art therapy and exercise therapy.

She is double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA-Kern Medical Center, where she served as Clinical Chief. Prior to this she finished her residency in Psychiatry at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and graduated from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Her undergraduate degree is in English Literature and Dance & Performance Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She is proud and honored to have worked as a teacher and women’s crisis counselor in past careers, bringing many of these skills to her current practice as a psychiatrist. She lives in San Diego and loves spending time at the beach or hiking with her family and dog, Margo.
